The signal is acquired pretty fast - faster than my Blackberry cell phone. The software packaged needs some updates but if you download the latest software from the Globalsat website you will be very happy with this all in one training watch. Also, the integration with google maps and google earth is kinda neat. I use it for biking and running - another advantage if you are preparing for triathlons, etc. In comparison to Garmins latest model (405) this watch is a lot bigger which does not really bother me as I am only wearing it while I work out. The price difference is tremendous and to be honest I found the handling of the Garmin (touching the ring on top of the watch) not really convincing. I...
