The device connected easily to my Mac OS X 10.5.8 and the GlobalSync software ([...]) was very simple and supported everything I needed. Unfortunately I couldn't get it to sample any higher than once every 30m or so. Increasing the sample rate in settings seemingly had no effect. After fiddling with the device for a few days I tried setting the sample rate to every 0 seconds in case that enabled some built in parameter. After making that change the device will still blink the appropriate lights and connect to my computer but won't download data or let me reconfigure. Works great with my Mac (although I admit I don't use the manufacturer's software solution), battery life is excellent, unit lightweight and easy to carry around. My only criticism is that although it included a hole to attach a strap wrist strap or lanyard, it didn't include the strap. I sewed a baby sock to my camera strap and slip this puppy into it when I'm on a shoot. Hasn't disappointed me yet.
